I’ve never heard of both occurring at the same time, from one drug. Maybe it depends upon the patient?

I’ve never heard of both occurring at the same time, from one drug. Maybe it depends upon the patient?

I’ve read a layman’s version of what happens. The clotting basically uses up platelets needed to halt bleeding elsewhere in the body. So part is or has clotted so much that clotting agents are not available to halt bleeding elsewhere in the body. Must be hard to do surgery to address the clotting if the patient bleeds profusely with incisions.

Well, most things depend on the patient.
Thats why lots of smokers live to be 90.
