My opinion is not Canada will not invade us. Mexico will not invade us any more than they already are. And China will not invade us.
I think we should be isolationists, push for autarky, and just promote a nationalist agenda. Who cares what happens in the Middle East or in Asia? Keep the subs, bombers and missiles. That’s about as much “Defense” as we really need.

The Founders eschewed the idea of a standing army, and if we’re not at war with anyone, our military should be severely curtailed. Our Founders put the Second Amendment into our BoR as a way to ensure our people were prepared to be called up to fight. A standing army, esp. in the hands of the kleptocracy in power now, is just a tool of suppression.
