CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (WPLG) – A Coral Springs woman was arrested on Tuesday after she allegedly hit her ex-boyfriend with a hammer and vandalized his car by smearing barbeque sauce and whipped cream on it.
Officers responded to a domestic dispute call and spoke with the man who said the couple had decided to break up. He told officers his ex-girlfriend, Beth Bianca Bruna, 22, became angry when he went to her apartment and put her belongings outside.
The man said he had been dating Bruna since December 2019, according to local ABC affiliate WPLG.
Bruna saw the victim putting her belongings outside and ran out to confront him, allegedly throwing eggs at his car.
The man told police that he got out of his car and hit Bruna with an open hand “with enough force to drop her to the ground.”
Not long after, Bruna went back to the victim’s house where she began damaging his car, including hitting the windshield with a hammer, puncturing his tires, and smearing condiments all over it.
The man told officers that while he was trying to stop her, she took the hammer and hit him above his eye.
Police reported that he was treated for the wound that required 1 staple to close.
Bruna only stopped when her sister confronted her and called the police, reported WPLG.
Bruna is facing charges of aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, and simple battery dating violence.

Looks like a guy from the picture at the website.
The charcoal fluid, darling. Not the BBQ sauce.
I saw the name Bruna and jumped to the conclusion that she may have been of Eastern European ancestry. Think sub-Saharan.
Bruna, svimvear...
I get the hammer, but why the BBQ sauce.
That’s just not right.
Definitely guilty.
In some ways, he started it by slapping the girl hard enough to knock her onto the ground. Then, she smacks him in the forehead with a hammer. What a violent couple.
Wonder if they’ll get back together?
Punch & Judy Redux.
“I get the hammer, but why the BBQ sauce.”
Whipped cream, too.
I knew without looking, but I looked anyway. Where’s the eye-bleach?
Kansas City or Carolina style?
Conflict Resolution 101
Yup.
If I had a hammer
I’d hammer in the mor-or-niing...
Hmmm - part of my DNA is sub-Sahara (and Asian) - I must have had some frisky ancestors way in the past.
With extra emphasis on Punch.
And the man will be found guilty. Classic case of battered spouse syndrome and she was only defending herself from a life long abuser. Yeah right.
They never get the important details. What kind of barbecue sauce, homemade or the store-bought cheap stuff?
Hehehehehehehehe
