A man went outside of his country home and amazingly a bear started to chase him! He yelled for his wife and she looked out the open window and to her amazement saw the scene unfolding. The husband, panting and straining as he raced ahead of the bear, hollered and screamed “open the door honey”. She said “I can't, there's a bear behind you!”
The wife remembered seeing a segment on the NEWS when Joe Biden declared that all you need is to do was to “take a double barreled shotgun, stand on the balcony and fire two blasts into the air and that would scare anything away!” So, she pulled her husband's old side by side out and as her beloved husband raced by one more time, she declared “Lie down and play dead!” When he he saw her with the gun he thought the safest place to be might just be down on the ground! So, he dove headlong onto the yard while his loving wife aimed the double 12 gauge and pulled both it's triggers. The recoil knocked her bare arm against the door jam with the force of the double Hi-Brass loads of double-ought buckshot.“Oh owwwww!” “That's going to leave a mark, my right to keep my arms bared has been infringed!”
The buckshot hit the bear in the south end as it chased her husband northward and blew off some fur and hide, the bear broke off at the shots, effectively ending the pursuit.
The gasping and exhausted husband carefully uncovered his head which he had wrapped tightly with his arms when he rolled in to the fetal position in anticipation of the inevitable pain that he expected when the bear surely would catch up to him. Realizing the ordeal was over, he gained his feet and quickly walked inside.
His courageous and stalwart wife matter of factly stated “look what I did!” “ I solved our bear problem for good and for certain!” “That bear will be too embarrassed to show hide or hair around here again”.
Then, while massaging her sore and bruised and discolored arm, she asked “can I get a smaller gun”? Her husband replied “not now, there is a background check you have to wait on and besides all the guns have been sold out in anticipation of more onerous restrictions and civil unrest”. She declared “I have been infringed twice in the same day”!
As they recovered from the effects of the incident, they could hear the bear bawling off in the distance; “oh hush “she said “at least you can still bear your arms without infringement, besides with global warming you did not need such a heavy winter coat anyhow”! “You are not the only predator to be exposed”.
The truth is the truth. This made me smile. Thanks!
