When my living grandmother (about the usurpers age at the time) got on an escalator going the wrong way (down) one time, she gutted it out to the top. It was hilarious and scary at the same time because she got that look between what cats get when they fall and “I’m not losing to this stinking machine without it killing me”. She made it to the top but she was pretty freakin’ winded.

My dogs came running to see why I was laughing so hard at reading that. The image of this energetic little old lady trying to outclimb the escalator is a funny one. Good for her!

Didn’t mean to come across as so bitter. It’s just that I read so much about 2022, 2024, etc. all over the Net, with little (if anything) said about the 2020 theft. As we all know, there won’t BE a 2022 or a 2024 if 2020 isn’t dealt with.
