I’d pay a grand for a Masshole hunting license - with no bag limit.
Oregon resident fishing license is currently $46, do I can’t muster much sympathy.
Soon... You will have the right to keep and bear arms. You just won’t be able to afford it.
I miss the simpler times of licensing in PA. Used to be you bought a hunting or fishing license that covered about everything. Over the years, a la carte, species specific stamps and tags and ever confusing boundary limitations have made a PHD in deciphering regulations a requirement to stay within the law. They wonder why interest is waning. In PA, the basic adult resident hunting license is cheap enough, around $20 but the add-ons can start to add up; a pheasant permit costs more than the basic license. http://read.nxtbook.com/pgc/huntingtrapping/20202021/license_availability.html
Just paid $37 for my all waters license in CT. And $64 for Maine out-of-stater fishing. They’re all expensive around here.
The King will collect his due for your hunting in the Royal Forests. The Shire Reeve will enforce the King’s edicts.
Seasoned citizens hunt and fish for free in MO. Have to pay extra for deer, turkey, and trout tags. And of course federal waterfowl stamps.
I recently paid $55 for a two-year fishing and Trout Stamp in Georgia. I do know that the majority of the money does go back to our DNR.
$47.70 to $160 == 335% increase........
