RIP. Not a real big boxing fan myself but somehow I liked Marvin Hagler, he seemed like a decent guy to me.

I recall the Pizza Hut commercial he did after beating up Thomas Hearns, I think it was... [MH, Enjoying a slice of pizza] "I wonder what whatshisname is having for dinner tonite. Probably soup."

Anyway RIP.

Golden Age was 30’s-50’s IMHO. But much cool afterwards too.

Agree. Hagler-Hearns enthralled me as a kid. One of the greatest fights ever. I’ve watched it on youtube periodically over the years. RIP champ.
