That brings up an interesting question since the ebola virus was only known to continue to exist in a 'cyst like' state for up to 500 days.
This outbreak was only recently discovered and identified as a re-infection of the original 2014- 2016 exposure just days ago.
This information is new, and may result in re-evaluation of other previous ebola viral outbreaks,
..or even re-consideration of other viri.
This is a significant scientific anomaly !

covid-19 is airborne virus, therefor most easily spread from breath, sneeze, cough of infected person.

Skin on fingers and palm is too tough for the virus to invade the body. It spreads most easily through mucous surfaces. Such as nose, mouth, genitalia, etc.

That is why when in a store where you can touch hundreds of places other people have touched, you are not at high risk unless you touch your nose, mouth or eyes with contaminated hands. And also be careful in rest room holding your own.
