My friends are belatedly realizing that the turmoil was not created by Donald Trump. It was manufactured by the Democrats, simply to win an election.
Now that the implications of the Harris/Biden administration are setting in, my Democrat friends (yes, I do have a few) are becoming very embarrassed. They bought into the propaganda that all the turmoil in Washington was created by the erratic and immoral behavior of Donald Trump. Their vote for Harris/Biden was a vote to return to normal. They didn’t realize that the Democrats weren’t offering a return to normal, they were offering the establishment of a “new normal.”
The “new normal” includes restricted energy exploration and cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline. This has caused a loss of well-paying union jobs, damaged relations with Canada, and triggered skyrocketing gasoline prices. It also threatens to return us to dependence on the most unstable region in the world. To those who would like us to leave the Middle East to resolve its own problems -- we can’t now.
We’ve implemented more “humane” immigration policies, creating a flood of illegal immigrants across the border -- wearing “Biden” t-shirts. Our humane policy has given us men, women, and children sacrificing their lives pursuing the dream promised them by the Democrats. Thankfully, we’re no longer keeping illegal immigrant children in cages. Now we’re keeping them in Conex boxes. I guess we can feel good about that.

People that support abortion as birth control, 32 genders, a muslim President after 9-11, uncontrolled borders, Godlessness, men can be women, censorship, destruction of history, orange man bad hatefulness, BLM... are these “basically decent people”?
Should what they support enter into that judgement?

(We are a constitutional republic, btw. The Founders did NOT want a democracy, for reasons explained in the video. Americans and the world have been successfully propagandized into believing we’re a democracy by D’rats and their MSM. “Don’t say republic, sounds like Republican!”)

In the last year I have jettisoned all friends who have Democrat leanings. I have easily replaced them with much better friends.
I noticed that immediately. I do NOT have any democrat friends.
Yep, I have nothing to do with Democrats. If they support that party I can’t trust anything they say.
Most are still ignoring it. They are getting more suspicious of his health. And they are getting quiet.
We will never escape from this nightmare without Democrats.

The two RAT “friends” I know of are both of the above.
I have not encountered a single Democrat who is prepared to admit they were duped or wrong or that Biden and the far left are wrecking the country. I don’t think 99% of them would ever admit it no matter what. Their TDS is that strong.

It’s just one Democrat talking point after another from them on every issue. There is zero independent analysis from them on anything. They will just swallow whatever the media/NOR says and regurgitate it. If questioned on ANY of it, they immediately get mad and refuse to discuss or they just cite the media as their source.......and these are professionals with grad degrees, not idiots in any real other than politics. It’s maddening to see it. How can an otherwise intelligent, educated and competent person POSSIBLY be so gullible and so lacking in the initiative to seek out information for themselves?

I was speaking with an acquaintance yesterday who said that his recently graduated daughter "went to college as a conservative and came out a liberal." Same for my own children, who now look upon my sociopolitical views as quaint, benighted and downright wrong. So when they come looking for handouts or "loans," I simply tell them that I earned whatever I have as the result of free market capitalism, but now that that system is being dismantled, I have to protect my diminishing resources and am no longer in a position to help out.
No one has mentioned peer pressure. We are social animals who must belong to, feel accepted by, a group of some kind. Especially now that the influence of the family is less than it used to be.
When the number of Democrats reaches a kind of critical mass, there is no longer any hope of convincing an individual to think for itself. This is why education must be dumbed down and more and more of the uneducated must be shipped in.
The response also becomes more emotional when someone threatens their peer group membership. I understand. It is frightening to be alone, and they are way too poisoned to even consider belonging to your group.

Extremely common. Our colleges and universities actively engage in social deprogramming and reprogramming. Knowingly. Since the 1060’s.
They are cultural Marxist indoctrination centers (along with our pubic schools). See The Frankfurt School for background. Those people were/are a key source of our current social cancer.
