Republican Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) has blasted the Democrats' ongoing push for gun control measures, declaring that “the government is never going to know what weapons I own.” The Texas congressman made the declaration during a speech on the House floor on Wednesday.

Nothing like making a public announcement to keep it quiet
I’m hoping he’s not an outlier in the GOP. Let’s see if any take a similar stance.
Undocumented guns?
Heh. Of mine, less than half were bought at a gun store. The rest are “anonymous”. It’s none of their business how many guns, hammers, screwdrivers, forks, radios, couches or anything else I own.
I just read on another web page that the House has passed a background check for firearms.
There are BG checks now...
....then he doesn’t know what “terahertz waves” are, or what they can do.
Bluster & Bravado will just get your defiant azz kicked.

As long as Chip doesn’t get caught with unregistered guns, he’ll be fine.
Of course that means if he wants to do anything with them he’ll need to own about 50 acres, so that he can shoot without the neighbors hearing him. And he can kiss goodbye using them in self-defense, going to the range, etc. And he better be VERY CAREFUL just who he tells about having them. All it takes is one ex, or one relative, or one co-worker to ‘start the process’, which will result in his compliance, if he wants to still live in this country.
Other than that, hard to see a problem with the new gun laws coming.

“Most states don’t require any registration of firearms—only the ‘progressive’ ones.”
Registration will be imposed as an Executive Order, needed to carry out the intent of the Universal Background Checks, don’t sweat it.
Well, they might find out eventually ...
More red states need to pass legislation declaring themselves a 2nd amendment sanctuary. Don’t know which state did it first but it’s pretty ingenious. If we can have illegal alien sanctuary states, no reason we can’t have 2nd amendment sanctuaries.
This is a good place to make a stand for freedom in general and 2A freedom in particular. I wish I had the talent/skill/money/time to do it, but it would be great if a nationwide campaign could start right now to sign up and pledge that we will not comply with this act of tyranny. I would sign up. If millions did, it might break the entire enterprise under the weight of having to try and prosecute millions.

We’ll see how that goes, but I don’t know how can protect themselves against people in DC ‘canceling’ their residents*, without ever leaving their office building there.
*for example, a resident not responding to an ATF letter demanding that they register their guns might find their bank accounts frozen the next time he tries to use his ATM card.
The serial number requirement needs to be removed. An optional number requested by an owner is one thing, a mandatory one required by a infringing government is another.
I suspect Texas will pass legislation making our state a 2nd Amendment sanctuary. Not sure what all that means, but hopefully will lend a lil protection against grabbers.
In addition to that, back in the Obozo dayz, folks in my county were disturbed by all the anti-gun rhetoric. The Sheriff of the county sent mailers to the residents stating that there will be NO gun confiscations while he is in office.
