Brooker is one of my favorite vocalists.
He sang on “Limelight” for The Alan Parsons Project.

I agree.
“Whiter Shade of Pale” is a seminal work.
Brings back a lot of memories.

LOL, I just found a picture of my mom and dad at a Hawaiian party at the O-Club in Subic Bay in 1969, and it was pretty clear he was drinking a Salty Dog there!

I still have the LP. No one touched PH for their erudite lyrics and epic delivery. Prog rock at its best.

I love “Whiter Shade” and “Conquistador”.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Loved the juxtaposition of Trower with Procol Harum in front of the Danish National Concert Orchestra when they played Conquistador (2006)
I saw Trower a few years ago at the Birchmere and enjoyed every minute of it. He was wringing every note out of his guitar. Some musicians make it look easy, but that was definitely not his style. Below is good example of what I mean. We’re all getting so old, but I hope to get the chance to see him again.
Robin Trower can say more with one note and a Strat than many young guys can say with an entire album worth of songs. I’ve seen him twice, and have been spellbound both times.
