Buckingham Palace was under pressure to respond to allegations of racism within the highest echelons of the royal family following an interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that threatened to have a devastating effect on the reputation of the monarchy.
In the most shocking disclosure, Harry and Meghan described how someone within the household had asked about how dark the skin tone of their baby son Archie would be – with the US chatshow host Oprah Winfrey clarifying later that neither the Queen nor the Duke of Edinburgh were behind the remark.
But the couple’s refusal to identify the family member in their damning TV interview leaves other royals open to suspicion.

The Palace should ignore it.
Response should be a stern glare from the Queen.
They should say “Meghan Who? That ultra pretty girl who made millions in the Transformer Movies?
Claiming racism scatters and destroys people the way Napoleon’s grapeshot dispersed the French counter revolutionaries.
Why let the accuser set the premise? Is it true? That should be the premise.
I don’t think Meghan and Harry are above reproach especially when it comes to the political views they air...but I also am tired of things falling along partisan lines with everything. Even if one is not the couple’s biggest fan, it’s easy to see that the Royal Family has issues — most glaringly right now being its cover up of Prince Andrew — and they need to be held to account.
Their response: “Who?”
If the palace wanted to know about odds of skin color it wouldn’t be H and M they would ask..it’s race bait and the media jumps all over it...just like in the land of the free..
LOL!
I wouldn’t respond.
Megan lacks credibility
Simp-cuck Harry and the ghetto c-lister.
“Fastidious & precise!”
They’re ungrateful political schemers. There could have very easily been an innocent question asking about the likely skin color of an interracial child just as you might ask the odds of it being blonde/ginger or having so and so’s nose.
In the Guardian:
“Let’s bow down to the real queen here – Oprah,” it was said. “What a fantastic interview that was. I think we will be talking about this interview for 20 years.”
