ARTH pingy.
If you have kids, find a way to homeschool or find a good Christian school. We had sent our kids to Christian school until they were in 6th and 7th grades, and then the school closed. We decided to transfer them to public school. They have to learn to deal with the “world” eventually, right? Well, our oldest graduated with her Christian values intact, but our youngest absorbed the liberal teaching of the public school and has become a hard-core anti-Christian leftist. If we could do it all over again, we would homeschool.
Homeschooling works only if a family can afford one or both parents to stay home and do it. Most cannot, therefore we need to fix our public and private schools.
I know a couple who, due to covid and uncertainty of covid school plans this year, decided to go ahead and home school. It is going REALLY WELL. Their kids are thriving, learning more, finishing up their lessons early, taking awesome field trips with the parents, etc. The kids are extremely smart. Both parents are well educated, so they do have that particular advantage. Parents say they plan to stick with homeschooling for at least another year after this one.
Interesting to see Israel so low.
If one of us stays home and actually sees to our kids getting educated, how am I supposed to afford the nice, new, truck, you idiot?
Oh PLEASE. The test scores are such BS, as our level of education is FAR BETTER than those other countries.
How do I know? Easy, we spend twice as much (or more) on education than every other country listed.
So, nice try!
Homeschool and another reason to homeschool ping.
Especially after this past year a parent would need the IQ of a bowl of oatmeal to see that the teaching establishment doesn’t care at all about their children.
If you care about your kids, homeschool them.
You may need to adjust your lifestyle a bit. Guess what, at some point they leave. It’s amazing how much money you make when the kids are gone.
The other amazing thing is that when they’re gone, they leave you satisfied that you did your best and poured your life into them so that they are prepared to be independent.
