It’s not the norm for any but happens in all religions. I remember the Baptist youth training union director chasing me around the room when I was about 16. He didn’t catch me and I didn’t say anything.
Youth religious groups are prime hunting ground for predators because a lot of youth in those groups can be a little naive and over-protected. I was but I learned fast.

Exactly. There are predators who know how to hide among the many good people who are trying to help young people.
