Interesting that she was a psychotherapist, as John Cleese has reportedly suffered with depression for many years. I wonder if it had anything to do with how they met. They divorced in 1978.

I think the “capture the GOP” people have to understand that 20% of the GOP will leave (the Biden Republicans), and that the resulting neoGOP will have to attract people who currently vote Democrat, and lots of them, to become a majority party.
That’s OK. Trump was elected by Democrats, specifically by 60 000 white Democrats in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. There are a lot more of them to be gotten.

The contemporary information-digital communications technology has the ability to put an end to all of this -which is why the “information war” on the American electorate. Why “us” versus “them” is finally crystallizing.
