I dont doubt some of this. I can imagine Prince Phillip making the comment about Archie’s skin color.
I think US people will be more prone to side with Prince Harry.

Seems like Meghan is trying to use the Diana approach right on down to the claim she wanted to commit suicide.
btw, one of the early blind gossip items was that meghan was keeping a diary and they were worried about what she was writing down.
I suspect this is one reason why people wanted to keep their distance.

By default because we rebelled from the Royal Family during the American Revolution, ha. So I don't blame Harry. On the other hand, I have respect for the institution in England. But it ain't for us. That's cool though. Each country is different. And it should be that way.
Harry is right in a way about them being trapped. Charles couldn’t marry who he wanted. Neither could his sister
But then look what happens when you do marry some American divorcee who can’t handle it.
William really lucked out.

Those of us who know members of the family have been asked to be very discreet in what we say. Not everybody is doing that but I’m trying to. It’s not easy.
I do think this will sort itself out in the end and I don’t honestly think it will take that long. It’s a sensation at the moment, largely driven by the gutter press in the absence of anything else to talk about. In a couple of years - maybe five - this will be largely forgotten and those who remember will wonder why it was such a fuss.
I will say that as far as I am aware the Prince of Wales is in decent health - but I wouldn’t necessarily know about everything and I haven’t been able to see him in a fair while - we would have normally caught up last year but I couldn’t travel to the UK. I just know nothing to concern me beyond the fact that he is getting older (as are we all) and he did have COVID.
It’s her third marriage. This one will totally last. /s

Btw..just a view from one american...the thing that hacks me off the most about this interview is the way both if them are trying to frame the royal family as racist because archie didnt get a prince title. Today articles are trying to set the record straight .
I think it’s understood that everything surrounding the Royal Family and the Institution, that requires thousands of employees and businesses, real estate etc. is to keep it sustained and going.
That said....Meghan’s following Fergie’s script.....even to Interviewing with Oprah just as Fergie did when she came to the US after she left the royal family....whining about how awful it was in the Royal family...how unwelcoming they were blah blah blah.......... they both know you can make money selling yourself as former Royal in the US Hollywood circles....and celebrities as well as the press all make a buck off from cozying up to Royals.and the public will ‘buy’ it up...cha ching!
There’s a reason the Oprah interview was titled.....’Meghan’ and Harry not Harry and Megan.
It was well staged by Oprah to raise the racist issue of course...and Meghan’s always in on anything that sustains her being a victim of the royals when she clearly wasn’t liked by most people long before she was with Harry.
It’s hilarious hearing megan identifying her self as a person of color......given most people didn’t know she was a woman of color until her dark skinned mom arrived on the scene. Further her acting resume and passport has her identified as White/Caucasian not as Bi-Racial. ........she’s a fraud and that’s all there is to it.
