The left in general, and the Democrats in particular, will embrace any conspiracy theory that fits its narrative. Leftists have accused Donald Trump of colluding with the Russians, entering into a quid pro quo agreement with Ukraine, and even organizing an armed insurrection against the capital. For leftists, these were not just fringe ideas. They actually acted on them. They conducted a special prosecutor investigation and two impeachments on the basis of these conspiracy allegations.
While it's always tempting to embrace conspiracies that support one's suspicions, conservatives have been and need to remain the "adults in the room." As we're now seeing conspiracy theories from the right, it's important that we not follow the left off this cliff. It's critical that the conservative movement not be perceived as in league with any unsubstantiated conspiracy claims. At best, it would provide fodder to the left-wing propaganda ministry (i.e., mainstream media). At worst, conservatives may find themselves associated with some truly dangerous elements.
As an example, the theories espoused by QAnon come across as not just childish, but downright insane. Unfortunately, there is also the potential for danger in them. QAnon sprang up in 2017 in response to a number of posts on the message board 4chan by a supposed anonymous high-ranking government official known only as "Q." Never mind that "Q" may be a 12-year-old kid with an internet connection and a great sense of humor — QAnon followers anxiously await the posts known as "Q Drops" and feverishly interpret their meanings. One can image followers poring over "Q Drops" just like Ralphie decoding the latest secret message from Little Orphan Annie.
The followers of QAnon assert that there is a secret war going on between evil Satan-worshipers in government and those (especially Donald Trump) opposed to them.

Agree... But FR is dominated by people who believe there were multiple shooters of JFK, David Koresh was a good man, TWA 800 was shot down by Hillary Clinton, GWB put explosives on the Twin Towers and that Trump won the 2020 election.

Here we are in the later stages of a pandemic created in a Chinese lab, being locked down, businesses ruined for no good reason, schools closed, elderly purposely killed by the thousands, election stolen, DC under lockdown for no good reason and we are supposed to not believe in conspiracies? Who wrote this ridiculous article? Mike Pence? Adam Schaffer?

Have you read the declassified CIA documents regarding the JFK shooting? Have you listened to the hours of evidence showing how the 2020 election was stolen? Have you read the Time article that outlines the election theft in detail? Didn’t think so. You can remain intellectually incurious, that’s your choice, but don’t come on here demeaning those who are looking for the truth.
I have read more about the JFK assassination than the average sluth. Regardless of the voter fraud that definitely occurred, the fact remains that Trump did not win the election in 2020, which is evidenced by Biden being President.
Even below-average sleuthing can detect a problem here. Perhaps the “h” is not needed.

That may be true of Q cards. But it is also readily observable to the casual observer that this war is indeed taking place.
Just because some drunk panhandler is shouting that it's dangerous to walk out into traffic is no reason to ignore him for being a fool, and then blithely walk out into traffic.

JFK: Who knows, but he did need to be dealt with as the Cuban Missile Crisis showed he wasn’t fit for that job.
Koresh: Watch some reports about him, there’s a lot of debate about just how evil he was. And also look at how Janet Reno destroyed the lives of people in Florida who were charged with child abuse, but never was any evidence of such provided (she made the same claim about Koresh...she was there to ‘save the children’). I also understand that he would leave the compound once in while to go into town (before the attack, of course)...seems like he could have been rounded up then.
TWA 800: Haven’t heard that one, but the ‘official’ cause of the crash is very questionable.
Twin Towers: You have to be pretty far gone to believe that one. The planes were fully fueled and the structural steel no longer used asbestos insulation (due to ‘regulations’) so it quickly melted. Even if there were sticks of dynamite, they weren’t needed.
Trump Winning: I think most here at least wanted an investigation and weren’t too happy with Texas being told, in effect, that they aren’t affected by the outcome of the presidential election (i.e., ‘no standing’), after all there were over a 1000 affidavits, pictures, and videos.
On the whole I agree with you with the exception of the 2020 election in that I have a lot of questions on the integrity of mail in ballots. However, I think Trump was poorly served by his attorneys by making claims they could not back up.

Well, there’s still a lot of unanswered questions about Waco, and it’s not just conspiracy nuts asking them. So I’ll leave it at that.
As to Trump still being president, I have a neighbor who thinks that...and yesterday it was supposed to be revealed to the country. LOL.
Because, nobody would vote for the Sniffer, and, the Ho.
