It's okay for youtube to show Jane Curtain's bra covered mammary glands, but it is not okay for them, when Emily latilla(Gilda Radner) calls Jane a "bitch" at the end of the skit?
Also what about the "cultural appropriation" by Gilda Radner, with her character of "roseanadana".
An obvious mocking of Puerto Ricans.
Time for the leftists to cancel Gilda.
Gilda was one the best comiednnes that ever was.
1000 times than Whoopi Goldberg.
“An obvious mocking of Puerto Ricans.”
Maybe you’re kidding, but Rosanne Rosannadanna is an obvious mocking of Italians.
At about that same time, there was a radio DJ called John Bonnadonna. That sort of, what is it, rhyming? Was common amongst Italians from Philly to NY. Don’t know about Boston.
Whatever, you ignorant slut...
Anyone else here see Dan Acroyd say “Jane, you ignorant slut!” back when SNL was great?
Gilda Radner on SNL was greatness. Violins on TV, and all the other skits. Never mind. And then, Jane dresses her down...and wait for it, Bit*h
#4. Dan Akroyd will now be TV shamed for calling Jane Curtin a “slut”. That’s “male testosterone privilege”, you know.
In fact all the old SNL skits will be banned because they made fun of someone, group, or thing. Fireman Bill - incompetent firemen. John Belushi - Japanese chef insulting.
Bill Murray - insulting real lounge singers.
Garrett Morris - making fund of the deaf, mutes and hard of hearing. He’s got to go.
Jane Curtin - has to go. Making fun of strippers who have to work long hours to make a living.
Chevy Chase - his name, location appropriation (Chevy Chase, Md).
The Killer Bees - have to go. Making fun of nature’s most productive insects. “Insect insulting” - a “woke” society no-no.
This was a light hearted spoof of a NYC TV newswoman, I can’t remember the real lady’s name. Maybe Roseanne Rosanadella? Something like that. Of course Gilda made it her own. The real woman was not a goofball, but she did do those typical tv news fluff pieces.
Someone will remember better than me!
Didn’t Garret Morris also make fun of Latin Americans with a fake accent while dressed in a baseball uniform...
In a very cheesy Puerto Rican accent, Baseball has been berry berry good to me...
“Anyone else here see Dan Acroyd say “Jane, you ignorant slut!”
One of the greatest TV moments of all time!
I was so pleased this was included in the big retrospective thing they did a while back.
“Fireman Bill - incompetent firemen.”
I think this was Jim Carey on Mad TV, not SNL.
That was when the white boy stole the show from all the great black comics that were on Mad TV, a great show and just kidding about the white boy thing, but he WAS the breakout star from that show.
You are right. Carey played Fireman Bill on “In Living Color”, not SNL. However, he made a good “shaming” character for this discussion.
Now he is crazy just like the rest of the leftists. What a waste of talent (Ace Ventura).

Rose Ann Scamardella
Born 1947 (age 73–74)
United States
Occupation Television journalist
Rose Ann Scamardella (born 1947) is a former anchorwoman of WABC-TV’s Eyewitness News in New York City, and the inspiration for Gilda Radner’s character “Roseanne Roseannadanna” on Saturday Night Live.
Sounds right. Morris is a very talented actor/comedian and in those days at SNL, his shouting out loudly for the deaf was hilarious.
That was “In Living Color”, not MAD TV.
Making fun of both! Cancel scores doubled!
Also the Shirley Ellis hit The Name
Game may have been inspiration
Roseanne Roseannadanna was a caricature of Roseanne Scamardella, a channel 7 reporter in NYC and, obviously, Italian.
SNL got away with an ad spoof of the
coin the Krugerrand with one that
began with the N word...
Gilda Radner was probably the best combination of cute and funny since Gracie Allen. She was a blessing taken from us, like Gracie, way too young.
Her husband Gene Wilder starred in Blazing Saddles and The Producers... Two of most offensive and funniest movies of all time. Neither he nor Gilda would likely subscribe to the socialist cancel culture the media so dearly champions and shoves down our throats on a daily basis, and they were Democrats.
Thankfully... This nonsense is a fad that will pass.
