Video sent to KSBW 8 by a viewer shows a mountain lion with three cubs in tow.
The video was recorded with a trail cam in east Carmel Valley, near Cachagua Road. The viewer said she thinks the video was taken at the end of February.
See video at site.
Good kitties
Cats in town. A sudden reduction in bite-size animals.
Thanks. Not surprising at all.
Lots of trail cams in the Santa Cruz Mountains capturing them all the time from Watsonville area up to Montara area. A lot of the trail cams are on Facebook.
I read years ago the land bordered by 101, I5, 152 and I580 has the highest mountain lion density in the US.
I have seen a few back in there, lots of wildlife, including Tule Elk.
Wow, right in downtown Carmel!
There was that big cat in San Fran a few months back, too.
I almo went to Carmel a few times. Hoping to make it one of these days.
Hunters, quick, shoot them dead!
When you want to go I’ll take you.
My treat
We’ll have lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, Portobello or Tuck Box then travel down the coast to Rocky Point restaurant where we can take in the winds coming off the ocean and the extraordinary views out to the ocean and the Vista view of Bixby Bridge. Then we can walk to “the hole in the rock “and watch the ocean spray through it.
You’ll love it.
“Hunters, quick, shoot them dead! “
A REALLY pinhead comment.
1. What, you want to deny them the chance to eat liberal voters?
2. Dunno, some of them could be friendly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezVtW4ZGHns
3. Hunters? In California? With guns???? And they’re not in jail yet? :P
It sounds just lovely ❤️
Lemme know
I found “null and void”(wonderful man with extraordinary thought) and “Shimmer1” by going out for a bite now and then.
Nully is one kewel dude
Shimmer1 has since passed but, a very lovely woman with a beautiful smile and wonderful laugh.
I’ve pinged Nully on this so he’ll “think” someone finds him a special and warm human being.
I don’t live with him so, that’s how I think of him.
LOL
I will ☺️
Ill join you.
The Big Cats possibly being attracted by food being put out by feral feline lovers and those that want a cat but dont want it in their home and feed them out doors. This action also attracts rodents and other pest the Big Cats like to dine on.
Out door “domestic cats” feral or not are a menace.
