I haven't heard of a single vaccine related fatality.
The group that seems to have the most robust immune response symptoms are the people that got Covid and then went on to get the vaccine. They almost always report feeling like they got Covid again for a day or two; whereas, everyone else tells me that they felt fine after shot 1 or, at worst had minor symptoms like a headache or a sore arm.
The Moderna vaccine seems quite safe.
I have been following both vaccines and your anecdotal observation matches up with the date sets I’ve read.
I am still looking to get the J&J, but have no idea how to find out which vaccine these sites are giving?
I suppose it is because they already have the antibodies? If/when I decide to think about getting a vax, I will have my antibodies tested first. My mother-in-law had covid in December and has since had her antibodies tested twice..still cranking out antibodies. She’s holding off on vaccine for now. She is almost 75, lives alone, and is terrified of having a hard time with vaccine.
Thanks for that. I’m getting the Moderna shot today, and I’m a little nervous.
My mother in law was hospitalized for 3 days following her taking the first Moderna vaccine. No second one for her.
