Pink’s hot dog stand reopened to the public Monday, nearly two months after closing because of a surge in coronavirus cases across Los Angeles County.

The popular eatery, which has been in business for 81 years and regularly draws long lines, opened its doors again at 9:30 a.m.

Customers will notice new safety protocols, including tables spaced 8 feet apart on the patio.

Employees and customers will be required to wear a mask and those in line will need to be socially distanced.

Plexiglass has also been placed across all counters, Pink said.

Pink’s announced its reopening plans on social media over the weekend.

They’re close to us. I would rather give Pink’s my money than a lefty place like Chick Fil A., which is closer. Been going there “steadily” since 2007 but I would say Carney’s is a close second.

Does she really own it?

She seems very conservative, as near as I can tell. She also writes quality songs and not cheap songs for quick bucks.

I’ve been to their Hollywood location plus when they have a temporary stand at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Very good dogs but at $6 and up that makes them pretty expensive for me. BTW Original Tommy’s makes a great chili cheese dog.

I used to eat there all the time when I lived in Hollywood, 70’s to 90’s. Great chili dogs and Israeli sodas.

I read the article and I’m aware that it’s been around for about 80 years, but SOMEBODY (alaskaerik) implied that Pink might have bought it.

It just fits her.

Pink’s is mostly hype...decent food. For a much better dog sans the BS go to Carneys and get a Carney dog w/ cheese. Heaven!!
