The 4th amendment. In nearly all areas of law, the weasel word ‘reasonable’ is left to the people, in the form of the jury, to decide.

Not the 4th amendment. In this aspect of law, the court decides what “reasonable” means.

In an early wiretap case, the US Supreme Court declared it was not reasonable to expect a phone line to be private. No warrant needed.

The practical menaing of the 4th amendment is so complex that the public is left at the government’s mercy. The vehicles for warrantless snooping are myriad. The US and China are not practically any different when it comes to privacy. Congressional lamentation in favor of privacy is literally worthless.

Having just read through the oral arguments on this case, it's pretty clear to me that the 4th amendment is going to be chipped down a bit more when the decision on this case is made. There was almost no effort whatsoever, by any party to defend the sanctity of the home in any real way.

There's no "Narrative", Gorsuch is an Originalist of the 4th Amendment, and this is easily deduced as a far more important Constitutional protection than worrying about trannies invading women's sports, which . will . collapse . of . its . own . weight . when trannies usurp -- before 2024 -- ALL the women's sports scholarships to Ivy League schools that the elite want for their kids and that Lori Laughlin was willing to go to jail for.
