It is certainly interesting how we react when we can clearly see our beloved Country spiraling down the toilet and filled with people that are so spiritually blind to the truth of God that in their minds what is happening is a “good” thing. I think part of the problem lies in the fact that if we were truly “living in this world and not a part OF this world”, we would be far more excited by current events and less depressed by them than we are.
But unfortunately we DO care about the Country not only for our own sakes but for the children and their future children. Maybe part of that fear also has to do with the fact that believers eyes ARE mostly open to the evil behind the manipulation of peoples thought and attitudes towards the truth of God, and so it is all too obvious that not only are the godless people in this Country pointing it ever more towards the gates of Hell but they intend to attempt to even more fully brainwash the children in their woke socialist godless agenda. They are indeed just tools, their devotion to godlessness being used by the evil of this world to manifest any and all thought and institutions against God and His truth.
So how to balance our concerns for the Country against our hope for the coming end time events?

The news is designed as a product to create constant agitation. It is wise to remove oneself from this wickedness. Godspeed.
But it is good for us to bring our beliefs here and share them with others. We all need to see changes in this country and praying together gives us strength together.

I have done a version of that since the election. Instead of the news, I’ve been listening to Thru the Bible, David Jeremiah, Joyce Meyer, and Robert Jeffress. Then my own time in the Word and prayer. Wonderful way to start the day, much better than yelling at the TV.
Satan is working overtime because he knows his time is short. Fear not. We know how it ends. Hang on to Jesus. Maranatha!
I have to say after seeing the election stolen by fraud and the ensuing depravity of the left takeover, my thinking has drawn in much closer to my property boundaries.
Too much stress comes from obsessing over things we cannot control.
Boy. Wow.... I should do that. Right now I can hardly think straight after Psaki, the stimulus bill, Rachel Levine confirmation, a friends son in law having a near fatal reaction to the Moderna vaccine.... a voice is telling me to get drunk and i cant do that.
It can be a challenge to separate politics from reality.
Because politics screwswith reality so much.
I like to think of it this way.
There is a relatively small number of politicians and then there is the rest of us.
Look out after your family..and if there is time look in on a neighbor.
And if you have one good friend then you are fortunate.
