The Mara a Lago district is too blue for him but you know as well as I that he'll get all the attention during the election season. If he loses he'll still be eligible to be Speaker. Contract time again. As speaker he can crack the whip, not on the democrats but the rinos. Then he can walk over to the senate and do the same thing-encroachment. Entertainment.

Nobody who has ever been President would ever accept a demotion in life to a lowly House seat.

I sincerely doubt he is the least bit interested in a house or senate seat.
The big chair, or productivity. Little interest in the day-to-day minutia.
There is a ton of power to wield in the house, tons, in charge of spending, impeachment, dog and pony investigations, and with Trump’s ambition and thirst for blood, it would get interesting over there.
Screw McTurdle, he is done, even he knows that. So he will be making big deals till is 6 years are up so he gets a nice cushy retirement
Why?
He’s going to have enough trouble surviving vindictive Democrats. If he starts running for office it might distract him from their attacks on him and his family.
All of this is unrealistic wishful thinking as long as the Deep State continues to count the votes.

We have had former presidents go back in as representatives, not modern president, but it has happened.

Trump would be better off promoting MAGA candidates for office, at both the state and federal level.
Two points:
1. There is a precedence for this. After leaving office, John Quincy Adams ran for - and won - a House seat.
2. The Speaker has a lot of power. So if the Democrats held the House after Trump won a seat, they’d make it a living hell for him.
John Quincy Adams for one.
DeSantis for President
Trump for Governor of Florida
Trump can do more than a House Seat.
He can lead the charge to replace as many
