They do indeed, but then they burn out just as quickly. Getting to the top is a very different matter than staying there--ask Spieth, McIlroy, Koepka... Dustin Johnson has built the most consistency.
I don’t see him playing professional golf again. One hopes he will be able to walk again. He could lose a leg. He could lose feeling in his leg & be disabled. His back could be permanently damaged with some paralysis. One hopes for the best, but cannot presume it will have a happy ending. I was wondering if somebody ran him off the road. Was that ruled out? There might have been a dog or coyote or deer in the road. One never knows & may not presume to know what happened. One wonders if Tiger will remember anything....

Would you be bothered if you had the wrong limb amputated because there are too many words to spell correctly? How about your mother dying from receiving the wrong drug because the name was misspelled? Just asking.

I think it’s normal for people to think about his future in golf.
It’s probably Woods’ own main concern - and he’s already triumphed through numerous other setbacks.
Rush said he never met Tiger and it was played on today’s show.
Because it’s not true according to Rush’s own words he never met Tiger.
I don’t know the date of the Rush segment that was re-played today, or if he ever subsequently did meet Woods.
But it’s obvious that Rush very much respected Tiger and the latter’s ability to triumph over adversity. (I had the feeling, listening today, that Rush had experienced his own trials that Rush felt were very much in common with those of Tiger Woods.)
It was from during the Trump presidency after Tiger’s recent comeback and he had just won a tournament in May of that year.
The accident was at 7:12 AM. It has already been reported that there was no alcohol or drugs involved. It has also been reported that the section where he went off road has had multiple accidents, it’s considered a problem area by authorities.
Tiger will NEVER play professional golf again I will bet this accident has also injured his back AGAIN, with the multiple leg injuries he will NEVER recover to play the game professionally again!! I really feel for him he has been through a lot, some of his own making, BUT JEEZE he can’t seem to catch a break!!

I believe he may have done with Golf due to his back issues. He was on CBS Sunday being interviewed at his own Tourney in LA (he was not playing) He was asked about returning in time for the Majors coming up. “Will be up to my Doctors” He was very non committal about when and if he returned.
Knowing the fire in Tiger he will try, but I’m not sure it’s in his best interest. He should take the next five years off, heal and not play other than Exhibitions / Charity events. Maybe he will be up to the less strenuous pace of the Championship Series when he hits 50.
