Trouble is, Stevie will be going to a region of severe ethic repression and terrorist murder. Wasn’t that what he says he wished to escape? Ghana may not be Cameroon, or Nigeria, but it also is not he United States of America. But, then again, the Fascists under the Oligarchs have taken over here, so Bon Voyage, Mr. Wonder!
Is this from the Babylon Bee? LOL.
Incredible how much of our population,of all races, have fallen for this divisive, commie bullshit and carry the flag of anti White racism.
Translation: He’s not leaving
Well, bye!
One of my coworkers, after retiring, decided to move his entire family (lots of kids aged 8-18 or so) back to his “homeland,” Sierra Leonne, where he’d immigrated from to the US in the 1980s. He got US citizenship.
He had inherited a nice looking home there, although many of his male relatives had been beheaded by machetes etc, which is why he fled to the US originally. (”My country should be the wealthiest in the world, with diamonds strewn about like potatoes!” he used to say.)
Needless to say, the entire family was back in the US within months. I’ve never been to Africa, but his American teens clearly preferred the US.
They were eaten by small villages, so no complaints we can find.
I’m truly disappointed by this. He was among the first generation to cross the “color barrier” which desegregated the radio airwaves. He’s extremely talented and on several of his albums he composed, wrote, sang and played all the instruments. Last I heard he even owned a couple radio stations. He is a living exemplification of what makes America great through individual talent, effort, hard work and achievement but somehow he’s got water on the brain.
I don’t know if he really intends to move to Ghana or just posturing for some or another reason. But he should probably talk it over with Dave Chappelle before committing.
I saw Stevie Wonder at the Atlanta airport. He didn’t see me.
This is what happens when you get stuck in a bubble.
‘I have always had the impression there are a good number of third world countries where physical deformation or disability is treated as a spiritual issue...’
some Christians believed this (and that sicknesses were caused by malevolent ‘vapors’) right up to the dawn of the twentieth century...
Right Stevie, America is so damn racist and unjust that no African would ever want to move here. Oh wait...
Buh bye!!!
Ghana has a conservative government. The President of Ghana’s party is a member of the same international association of parties that the Republican Party is. The loser of last year’s election, the left-wing candidate, says the election was rigged.
He can record from there. No need for him to stay in this country. He now lives in a free country and can do what he wants. However, Ghana might not always be that way (nor us for that matter).
None, if he’s smart.
I can’t see the reasoning behind this.
It most likely expire waiting in customs waiting for a bribe. Or the electricity will go out and it will spoil.
Her most recent gig is not about racism. She interviewed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Well, Meghan is half black, so it may be about racism after all.
Yes it is amazing.
And it's spreading faster with each passing month.
Telling the predominate group they are bad people over and over again because of the way they look is a quick way to turn people against one another in this already divided country.
Look no further that a longtime American icon of a company...Coke, telling it's employees to be less white.
WTF? What good is going to come from that? It's intentionally trying to divide people.
Couple that with the political persecution and systemic fraudulent elections....this really is a recipe for disaster for any kind of "United" States of America.
