I have been waiting for someone else to post but not seeing any takers, I'll ask "what did everyone think of the SOTU yesterday?" Seems Biden is still planning to give his speech on the 23rd. Must be 2022. Did he sleep through his speech? If you go to the link, its kind of funny to watch what was supposed to have been his address. Three minutes of 'Coming Soon'.

I probably would not have watched in any case, but now one has to ask things like is he too incoherent? Did they blame the delay on COVID or white supremacists? Anyway, have fun with this news/vanity.

Another FR thread gave dates for other first SOTU addresses by prior Presidents. January was normal. Nobody went this long before speaking in front of the nation.

A couple of years ago I attended a couple of days of a trial at the Boston Federal Courthouse. A couple of guys who were mob associates of Whitey Bulger (formerly of the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted") were on trial for murder,jay walking,etc,etc.

One of the witnesses was a guy named Stevie "the Rifleman" Flemmi. He was a witness for the prosecution and as I was sitting about 30 feet from him he admitted that he had killed "about 50 people".

It was one of the high points of my life.
