It’s hard not to enjoy the extended implosion of The Lincoln Project over the past month. For a brief, brilliant year, America’s premier assembly of pedophile lookalikes raised seemingly endless amounts of money from gullible liberals, pledging that it would ignite an anti-Trump insurgency on the right. Now, almost every prominent figure linked with the group has been exposed as a liar, scammer, or outright sexual predator. Its total collapse appears imminent.
The Lincoln Project was a grift, one of the largest ever executed in American politics. As a future U.S president once said, it’s good to see bad people fail:
But Republicans can only enjoy themselves so much. While The Lincoln Project’s collapse is entertaining, the stark reality is that its brand of scam has flourished on the right for years. This scam will continue, until a superior conservative movement is born that demands real accountability of its operatives.
At its inception, The Lincoln Project vowed to win over other disaffected Republicans. The group pledged not only to knock Trump from the White House, but also defeat Trump-aligned incumbents in order to deliver President Biden a durable governing majority.
It didn’t work. While President Trump was narrowly defeated, he performed even better among Republicans than in 2016. In the House, Democrats lost seats, securing one of the feeblest majorities in U.S. history. In the Senate, the Project’s efforts were a catastrophic failure.

They claim to be Republicans, and worse than that, Republican leadership never disowned them.
Why give them the attention? It's what they want, and it may not have changed anyone's mind.

Correction, Trump wasn’t even defeated at all, let alone narrowly defeated. The election was up and out STOLEN by Biden, with the courts either due to being firmly on the side of social justice or otherwise being cowed outright into looking the other way via threats by radical leftists letting the theft be gotten away with.
And the Lincoln Project does a great disservice to Abraham Lincoln. They should have called it the Jefferson Davis project, that would have been a LOT more honest.

PDJT was not defeated.He was actually the guy that actually won. The election was stolen from him.
Most of the GOP officeholders are Bush League Republicans, Assistant Democrats.
The entire purpose of the GOP since 1989 has been to block conservatives from stopping the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA).

The GOP is going to have to work it’s collective ass off to gain back the voters who are leaving them in droves with each passing day.

The 2020 steal could not have happened without the RINO-controlled state legislatures, governors, and secretaries of state who did nothing to stop it.
2022 is the year we make them pay for their treachery. The first big name to be kicked out will be that pos Murkowski. She'll easily be defeated in the primary, and just like in 2010, she will run as an independent, but this time there won't be any "moderate" republicans to vote for her. There aren't any left. The GOP voters are mad as hell and will exact their revenge.
Most everyone thinks their RINO isn’t the problem. 90% of incumbents win reelection and 2022 won’t be much different than that. Regardless, changes a few faces in the GOP will not change the fundamentally corrupt nature of the party.

First, I was going to say they didn’t matter much, as that’s what I’ve been reading. But not quite - I guess their damage was that it (the name Lincoln Project) gave them a vehicle to get in front of the media to bash Trump...which the media just loved.
But the rest of the operation was ingenious. They took money from super-rich Democrats, funneled it to themselves (most of it), and used the rest to advertise only where hard-core Democrats would see it...making them think their money was reaching the ‘moderates’...which kept the gravy train flowing.
I guess as people figured out the scam after the election, they wanted to send a message that people shafting rich Democrats for personal gain is not appreciated and a price will be paid, which is what’s happening now.

I’ll take my RINO (Cornyn) any day, over any Democrat in Texas...unless you think the country would be better off under Beto blocking Trump’s judges and everything else Trump was doing and trying to do.
What good did Trump’s judges get us? Not much really. We need a genuine opposition party. The GOP has shown they will never be that and that in fact they prefer progressive Democrats to conservatives. It’s time to call time on the abusive relationship conservative voters have with the GOP.
