Since Sunday, Texas weathered a fierce storm that left cities without power, water and warmth for millions of people who aren’t used to this kind of cold.
Amid the tales of people struggling to survive, a few stories of hope showed that Texas hospitality is the real deal.
Timmons, who lives three hours away in Houston, said she makes weekly trips to Austin because the delivery market is better there. The 32-year-old picked up one last delivery on Sunday as the snow picked up, thinking she would have time to make it home.
She struggled to drive into the hilly neighborhood at midday to deliver the groceries, which were already a day late and included steaks for the couple’s planned Valentine’s Day dinner.

So was she hot?
This scenario has potential.
Dear Penthouse, I never thought this would happen to me...
She struggled to drive into the hilly neighborhood at midday to deliver the groceries, which were already a day late and included steaks...

She brought steaks? Well of course she can stay.
Heh. Well, maybe so.
Sweet story.
Very cool. Well done all.
I guess she did not know that White people are racists.
Nope...
Nice to hear a positive story.
My kids and grandkids are back with us. They went home after the power came back on, but had a ruptured water heater at their house.
They quickly drained water at their house after the power went out,so the pipes were okay.
Who would think about a water heater?
“....They shoveled small parts of the driveway ...”
Loosers... What else do they have to do? Is there no sand in Texas?
“Strangers took in a delivery driver for 5 days after she was stranded in Texas storm”
That’s how white supremacists lure you into a false sense of security.
“Who would think about a water heater?”
Uh, they typically have a drain valve near the bottom....
This is Texas. This is what we do.
I don’t mean this to be rude but why does it seem that Texans can’t drive in the snow? Every few years I hear a news story about a major pile up/accident in Texas because of a few inches of snow. We get a lot of snow up here in Boston and there really isn’t a secret to driving in it...just drive slow and tap your breaks if you spin out.
people wouldn’t have time to write about the situation if she was hot... 😁
In the northern states, it always take a week, week and a half to "remember" to take it easy till you have your snow legs back.
That may if not definitely saved that girl’s life. Good, kind people.
I trust Americans and Christians to take care of each other.
Government? Not so much.
