I believe the appointment only is necessary. Can you imagine the lines if it were first come first served?

Appointments are necessary now because it’s by “groups”. But they will open it up and limit lines to supply available.

The appointment only deal is like a lottery here in NJ. We have the highest death rate in the world and seniors like me constitute 60% of the deaths yet I can’t get an appointment. The list of those who qualify is so long and unenforceable that anyone can get or try to get an appointment; hence chaos. Equity at work again. They should take the over 75’s first before everyone and work down to the younger groups even including health worjers., and certainly teachers. Hell here even smokers and prisoners get vaccinated. My wife and I no luck at 80.

They will not let 5000 people line up if they have 500 doses available. They pass out numbers.
