The appointment only deal is like a lottery here in NJ. We have the highest death rate in the world and seniors like me constitute 60% of the deaths yet I can’t get an appointment. The list of those who qualify is so long and unenforceable that anyone can get or try to get an appointment; hence chaos. Equity at work again. They should take the over 75’s first before everyone and work down to the younger groups even including health worjers., and certainly teachers. Hell here even smokers and prisoners get vaccinated. My wife and I no luck at 80.

The solution is limiting the groups with priority access. As predicted, every special interest group wants their members at the front of the line. The most absurd is teachers when the ‘science’ says they’re not likely to get infected since the children aren’t spreaders. They get this special treatment to reopen the schools, then the teachers say that isn’t good enough, they can’t reopen until all the kids are vaccinated too. Pure power play.
