Earlier this week, news broke that Prince Harry will lose his honorary military titles as his and Meghan Markle's royal exit becomes permanent. The decision, which was made the Queen and announced by Buckingham Palace, is thought to be a disappointment for Harry, who had reportedly been trying to work out a way to maintain his military titles after the royal exit. Royal insiders worry that if Prince William is given the titles, it will only put more strain on his and Harry's relationship. This week, Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will officially be removed from their royal patronages and that Harry will be stripped of his remaining honorary military titles in light of the couple's decision to make their royal exit permanent. In it's statement, the Palace explained: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed to Her Majesty The Queen that they will not be returning as working members of The Royal Family. Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service. The honorary military appointments and Royal patronages held by The Duke and Duchess will therefore be returned to Her Majesty, before being redistributed among working members of The Royal Family. While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family." The decision is said to be a sore spot for Harry, who had reportedly been working on a way to maintain his military titles after stepping back from his duties as a full-time working royal.

Since Charles doesn’t want to involve Beatrice and Eugenie York in royal work, they are just going to have to wait until the three Cambridge children grow up. Anne’s children do not work for the firm, but Edward and Sophie’s two children might someday.
50 years ago I wrote a letter to Newsweek asking why an American magazine would bother publishing stories on a subject so useless as British royals. (The Duke and Duchess of Windsor were featured in some in some breathless piece.)
The editor wrote back to me to explain that a certain segment of Newsweek’s readership couldn’t get enough of them.
I have never invested a single moment in tracking the antics of those knuckleheads to this day, and that includes Lady Di.
IOW, Harry wants all the perks and money without actually having to work for them.

Even Charlotte can be Queen before Harry...can be King.

This is true. And all things considered, this parting ways with the family is probably a good thing. Not that I agree with any of Harry’s social or political stances.

He will admit to his grandmother that she was right, apologize, and be re-instated. ME-gain will be furious, since she wanted the whole pie; all of the percs of royalty and all of the percs of Hollywood.
Her Majesty and Prince Charles and William still love Harry and would welcome him home.............alone.

But MeAgain is really poisoning that relationship with William.
She clearly made Harry feel like it is them against the world and his family hates him.
Kind of like what happened with Aaron Rodgers and one of his girlfriends.
I think these leftist women will eat her up. They all want to be the top dog and Markle didn’t “work” her way to the top like lots of others. I don’t think they will allow her to do too much.
