The Virginia Convention – 3-4" Worth noting again that there are many different conferences, conventions, congressional & other meetings proposing constitutional amendments & laws, all aimed at working out some sort of "compromise" to save the Union, or to at least keep secession peaceful.
All will have good intentions but none will produce anything of lasting value.
