Here’s another (unrelated) drag racing video...

"Old School GASSER and ALTERED Drag Racing at the “Out-a-Sight Drags” event Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Check out some great old school burnouts, Vintage Drag Racing and wheelies all from cars pre-1967 and older."

Great video and photos - used to go to Puyallup Raceway over 50 years ago, saw Don Garlits race many times. He was the first to put the driver in front of the engine after his trans exploded and nearly killed him in 1970.
A pit pass was only $1 back then, it was cool to watch the guys work on their machines - they let you stand right along the guardrail during the race, rather dangerous.
A high school friend and I would skip class and take his 1959 Impala (straight axle, no clutch) to the next town over to talk to girls at another high school.
A '59 Impala back then in running condition would cost around $500. Not anymore.

I’d like to know how they set up that Falcon (unibody) to handle the torque without twisting it apart.

I keep looking at a late 50’s Rambler 2 door wagon near the house and thinking that would make a cool Gasser...

Wife would probably kill me.
