How to get the Covid -19 vaccination in Ohio
Received my Covid 19 vaccination yesterday. It was a lot of work to get but we wanted to see the grand kids so I wanted it as soon as possible.
It was a learning experience and I wanted to pass along a couple of points.
First there are two types of signup processes que and schedule. The que process you fill out your information and they will contact you when a vaccine can be scheduled. It is offered by the Cleveland Clinic, Discount Drug mart University Hospital. One of the hospitals had a counter that showed there were over 100,000 people in the que and 12,000 vaccines given. For those pharmacies it is best to sign up as soon as the que opens. Soon does not mean the same day or even the same hour it means the same minute. Or else you can be thousands of people behind
The schedule process askes some preliminary questions and then searches for available slots based on zip code. These groups included Giant Eagle and Kroger’s. In talking with various pharmacies they indicated that the doses were added to the schedule when they receive them often with a morning delivery.
For the que based pharmacies you need to check every hour during the day. If possible have multiple family members checking. The available vaccines can change minute by minute.
In my case a cancelation opened a slot that that was available within the hour.
There are online groups organized by state that discuss the vaccination review their information and suggestions.
Talk to the pharmacists they can give you some information on how their pharmacy works. Some have hand written lists of people to call if they have extra doses. Hope this helps

Nothing more than some tenderness at the injection site.

Mom and Dad got the shot and were given a paper asking if they could be part of a survey after the shot.
Mom feels like a lab rat.
Ymmv. None of that applies to Dallas. Wife and I are high risk in our 60s. It took 4 times to get our online registration verified. After weeks, no appointments

Are you not better off just getting Covid instead. Your chances of death are minimal, and apparently most people who get it suffer a few sniffles and it’s over.

Exactly. The “risk” of surviving Covid is over 99%. The effectiveness of the vaccine is 95% tops. Plus, we don’t really know the dangers of the vaccine yet.
We had a 40 percent absentee rate after vax 2 including committed to the lie democrats. What I saw on the ground after vax 2 was like nothing I saw getting multiple vax in the military.
I had one person work anyway.. 25 percent of my staff had COVID so, I saw that too.
Dems are saying daily this won’t prevent it, maybe lessen it.. um not just no.
My friend who had COVID and got the second vax has advanced myocarditis as a result of the previous exposure to it plus the vax.
I would rather receive natural immunity.
Based on my real world experience, if you had no side effects after number 2... be very suspicious. Something is wrong with the vax or the administration of it.
I have more committed dems ho had COVID getting the vax in the coming weeks.
Yeah. It’s been a year and I haven’t even been sick. I’m 66 and have other health issues. I know the Bat Flu is out there and I’m not denying it but I don’t know anyone personally that’s gotten sick. It’s just second and third and fourth hand stories. The commies won’t let this go because it’s working for them so well. There will be another strain or new virus that they’ll use to terrorize the population. The mask mandate is here to stay. I believe that we’re entering the 666 time and getting vaccinated is the beginning of total control on where you go and how you buy and sell.
Agree with all. I’m 72 and haven’t been sick at all for a few years. Last February when the scamdemic became a thing, we were on a Princess ship, and stayed healthy. My mom is 96, healthy, and won’t get the vax. I also don’t know anyone who has had WuFlu.
The RAT/commies love their cooties with all of their hearts and souls, even if they’re pretend. Control and power are what matters to them. Thank Heaven the mask travesty, for now, is a state issue. There’s a bill in the TN House and Senate to prohibit retaliation against mask refusers.

Your remarks pretty much sums up our feelings on the subject.
The “we don’t really know the dangers of the vaccine yet” part is the scary part considering this is not a conventional vaccine that has gone through years worth of testing to see what the negative side effects are. And this is a genetic modifier that my require annual boosters. There is more unknown about this experiment than there is actually known about it.
And when the Bill Gates factor is added to it, I just think I will opt out of the cure and just get the disease.

No vaccine for me or my family members. There has not been enough testing and there is strong evidence of sever reactions.
And I am pro-vaccine. I have travelled the world and have just about every travel related vaccine.

A lady I know, in her 50’s, got it and she said she had the worse migraine type headache plus other symptoms
It took a good friend of mine, in her 60’s, 5 weeks to recover.
I would say both women were healthy when they contracted it.
Anecdotal I know.....but your statement was nebulous.
Have your anecdotes (which I have no reason to believe they are not true) caused you such concern that you have or plan to receive the vaccine? Just curious, that’s all.
