Neil never got over Royal’s death. It played a large part in in ending his show.

I don’t think he would have been as good. Webb was too serious. Lloyd Bridges would have worked, many others too like Lurch, but Webb? No, would not have been as funny.

Leslie Nielsen would have been good, too.
