A classic along with Abbott and Costello’s “Whos On First?”.

Love it. Thanks , nikos. Back in the day when comedy routines were actually funny and not cringeworthy.

Started watching Letterkenny. It had promise but devolved into too much homo stuff and got really raunchy. It still had its moments, but it just wasn’t enjoyable.

It was shown so many times on the anniversary shows I almost know it by heart. I think only the Ed Ames tomahawk throw was shown more.

I remember hearing this on the radio (Dr. Demento?), but I thought it was a Stan Freberg bit. OK, I’ve learned something today, now I can go back to bed.

Jack Webb was offered the role of Dean Vernon Wormer in “Animal House.”
To: GreenHornet
I don’t think he would have been as good. Webb was too serious. Lloyd Bridges would have worked, many others too like Lurch, but Webb? No, would not have been as funny.

That’s interesting because I didn’t notice the homo stuff or anything raunchy.

Thanks - and here’s something else that may lighten the load a little - seeing Neal Boortz on Hannity on Wednesday night reminded me of this - “Boo Got Shot.” The translation was done by Neal’s producer Royal Marshall who passed away a few years ago. Someone else whose death left a large hole.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen that....fabulous. Another world, another time in our lives.
Thanks.
