Would be the last words I would ever say to them. Used to have a guy that lived across the street for a few years. He was a legit nut case. Would be friendly with people next to them and then call the cops on them the next day for no reason. He was baker acted one day and they family moved. That’s been years ago. I never even waved at him.

The rest of us don’t speak to them. What gets me is they are retired Air Force, both husband and wife. Not typical behavior for ex military...................

We just moved to a neighborhood on a hillside here in SW Pennsylvania. Most of the house are from the 1940s or earlier. There are little back yards that have a old metal gate to the alley. There are also gates between the yards that go from backyard to backyard. I told my kids and grand kids those gates are from a different time when neighbors looked out and trusted each other. I remember those times.
