I'm surprised with the passing of Rush and the various memories being shared that I haven't seen any mention of the parodies Rush played.
Looking through several of them brought back the laughter shared by our harmless little fuzz ball
I think this was his best parody.
This was so well done, it’s scary.
My favorite was “The Philanderer”
“Cause I’m a Kennedy, I’m Ted Kennedy...The car skids round and round and round and round.”
I still remember laughing my _ss off at the Spatula City and The Tuna doesn’t Taste as Good as it used to parodies. Among many others.

Then there was the “Keep Our Own Kids Safe” PA.
Those are all online. Al sharpton and barack the magic negro. Lol
Rush was a funny bastard and he hired the best to do parody.
Spatula City was from the movie “UHF”.
My favorite was the Carol Mosely Braun update theme...
Or the one where he played Jackyl’s Lumberjack Song, with the chain saw.

I can’t find it online, but another great one was “Vice Vice Baby” (to the rap tune of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby”) ... with the singing done by some guy who could do a remarkable impersonation of Al Gore. LOL.
