This takes place in Spain. They are going to rob the place where the Spanish paper currency is printed. These must be the best Spanish actors. Not one is a fail. This show is not politically correct!
Its on Netflix and if you hate Netflix it is worth signing up for their trial month.. Then cancelling
9 Robbers in this gang. Lots of shootouts. Lots of good and fun male-female dynamics. Lots of dark humor. Every actor and actress does a job far superior to what comes out of Hollywood

I sometimes see the language dubbing will say something like, “English” or “English 5.3” Don’t know the difference, but I’m guessing 5.3 is somehow better?
Most of the time, however, the closed captions are not the same as the dubbing. ?Por que es eso?

I’ve become somewhat addicted (and I don’t think I’m alone) to film noirs on youtube. It’s how I’m ending every day. I’d guess that there is something appealing in their break from today’s ugly reality in so many ways. And that’s not to say that they promote innocence and morality. Far from it. But they bring you the dark side of life without the need for every other scene to contain overt sex or f bombs.

Money Heist started out great but by season 4 it was getting dumber and dumber. Has season 5 started yet? Season 4 ended 2 years ago.
As suggested skip the English dub - go for the Spanish (Spain Spanish = cannot understand squat and I speak latin Spanish) but the English subtitles are a fairly good translation.
Great characters and very good direction.
‘Heartland’ is simply GREAT.

Believe or not the "Horse Whisperer" 1998 movie is a very good horsey, ranchy kind of movie. Robert Redford is good in it. Same for Kristin Scott Thomas. The 16 year old Scarlett Johansson is in it. A chick movie.
My husband and I both loved Money Heist - not too many shows we both enjoy that much so that is saying something
Thanks, dennisw, for putting me onto this series. Wife and I didn’t start it until well after your post; but we saw it through and really dug it.
BTW, I thought the dubbing was extraordinary.
The script writing went downhill after season 1; but it ended well. Had to get that homo scato in there though, didn’t they? It’s obligatory these days. Fast forward is our friend.
Got any more tips for our viewing pleasure?
Dubbing has to match the movements of the actor, especially the mouth movements. Captions can be longer and more accurately reflect the meaning of the original (though they still have to fit in the space on the screen and stay up long enough to be read by viewers).
Possibly Triple Border with Ben Affleck. My friends like it. I have not yet seen it.
