That is not the point. Rush is a once-in-a-Century blessing...regardless of precedent, it is glaring omission.
Why are you so anxious to defend GOP anyway?
BTW, I received an email from Ronna McDaniels, Chair of RNC, imploring me to be “peaceful” following the January 6 rally. I resent her implication that because I supported Trump, I might have a propensity to be violent. From that moment forward, I have ceased all communications with GOP.
So does every website put a tribute up? I don’t see one on the Freerepublic homepage.

Regarding the FR “Home Page,” You are comparing apples to oranges...GOP.com has (relatively) current news on their Home Page...FR does not...FR Home Page has links to news. In addition, I don’t know if it is all that easy to make changes to the FR “Home Page”—I have not seen any changes really in the 20 years I have been here...As you know, FR Homes Page is more of an “about” page with links to the various areas such as news, editorials, business, etc. as well as links to other sites. You would have to ask the owner why he has not changed the “Home Page” to reflect a Rush tribute.
However, there are many threads paying tribute to Rush with many posts in the various areas. In fact Rush leads the Breaking News sidebar (has for most of the day) with a thread that has over 800 posts and growing.
I am glad individuals within GOP have come out and made statements regarding Rush.
I don’t know why someone went to GOP.com...But I just did (did you?) and looked. Frankly, I think it would have been nice if they had posted a tribute...Like I said, FR has many tribute threads/posts...
Again, not sure what your point is...Clearly, you wish to defend GOP, GOP.com...Free speech...so go ahead. I like some GOP candidates, but I am fed up with the party as a whole because they betrayed my President.
