An analog program takes old, colorized photographs and animates them using AI technology
Close ups indicate what I would do if I was investigating a video or photograph for authenticity, and THIS would fool me

On a related note, there is now technology that can realistically place someone’s head on someone else’s body. Here’s a short video of actor Steve Buscemi’s head on Jennifer Lawrence’s body. Yeah, it’s creepy. And a bit scary.
I was wondering how authentic were those photos. The reason I say this is that something about them seems very modern. Had they done this process on well known photos or well known people like Lincoln, I wouldn’t be that skeptical.

I’ll bet the originals were large format, with great depth of field. Wonderful detail and focus.
Meanwhile, I think there is room to improve his AI of blinking. Seems too quick and frequent, and a ‘signature’ of his work.

Thanks I didn’t know. I was wondering if the AI compensated for makeup. That’s why they seem so modern perhaps. You get the naturalness and softness of the face which goes against what we know as an older picture. It makes you wonder if these are in fact older pictures at all.
Or the AI has added field of depth, the detail and focus. Hard to know. Maybe the AI also scrubber any makeup that was on the faces too. They are so natural and soft which we don’t think of as qualities of early photography... at least I don’t. I think of something like bleached out pictures.

The. Blinking looks atiny bit wonky, but the other animations look convincing.
I read once that the anticbrist might have a huge holographic I age oh himself that “does miracles” that will. Deceive the world. And will be broadcast all over the world.
Getting hard to tell rea.kty from fiction these days with altered videos, photos, newscasts deceiving folks with edited video and photos. Won’t be too hard to deceive the masses a and make the gs appear to be miracles whe they really aren’t
