The bravest person in Hollywood, by far, is Gina Carano. Unlike Chris Pratt, she does not apologize for water bottles. Instead she openly defies the expectation of putting pronouns in her bio and frequently posts dank memes. But Cancel Culture would mount a major offensive after she posted an image that compared our culture to the culture that cultivated the Holocaust. Although the below image is what got her terminated, it’s really her beliefs they hate.
This image was rather tame. Basically, a culture that dehumanizes people will eventually exterminate these people systematically. The authorial intent was likely to point out the unpersoning going on right now in contemporary America. Nevertheless, the birthday of the actress for Admiral Holdo, one of the worst characters ever in the Star Wars universe timed well with a campaign to fire Gina Carano.
But is this all bad for Gina Carano? Perhaps not. Obviously Romans 8:28 tells us that God works all things for good for believers. The Mandalorian had peaked as a show. It’s second season masked its mediocrity by having Mark Hamill deepfake himself as a young overpowered Luke Skywalker in an epic display of fan service after log and tedious episodes that were derivative and designed to set up spinoff series. In essence, Mandalorian is like watching a below average open world video game where most episodes feel like a time consuming side quest. So for Gina Carano, it may be advantageous to be off the show before it becomes The Walking Dead. So hopefully, Gina Carano doesn’t end up being in bad Christian movies that I review. But I’m actually optimistic. There are not many actresses that can convincingly play female action heroes. Gwendoline Christie can but she has already been casted in Star Wars.
At the end of the day, losing your job at a company that supports actual concentration camps in China for your beliefs is a badge of honor.

This is painfully naïve. Carano has just been effectively blacklisted by the most powerful studio in the world and dropped from a very influential agency. That’s never good for anyone. She’s not mega-wealthy like Mel Gibson nor at the end of her career like Jon Voight. She’s still a struggling actress who is now persona non grata in Hollywood. Worse yet, she’s an action star who will be foreclosed from the two-biggest action franchises in Hollywood, Star Wars and Marvel, both of which are owned by Disney.
The political landscape is going to have to change significantly before her employment prospects improve. Obviously, this is horrible for her, but it will have a very chilling effect on other conservatives and even libertarians in Hollywood. This, of course, is exactly what Disney was ultimately trying to accomplish.
It’s not that I disagree with her, but the authors need to get out in the real world sometime.
She nuked her career for the truth. You should be in awe.
Though it may seem that dire, I don’t think escaping from the gutter is necessarily a case of nuking one’s career. Someone like her always has options and supporters.
As for Carano, her family is very well off financially and will find a job in some industry that will pay her well due to connections.
Not to mention...she’s a fighter, both literally and figuratively. She doesn’t believe in surrender. She’ll win no matter what she puts her mind to.
Rumor floating that she will be hired back because of the backlash from viewers upset she was fired for her statements while pedophiles and would be mass murderer are still employed by Disney.

What I did was to comment on the fact that I had cut out a yellow star and placed it on an N-95 mask and wore it one time. I said people looked at me weirdly not knowing what my mask was all about.
After I posted my comment to my sister's page all hell broke lose and my liberal Jewish brother-in-law wrote a venomous 8 paragraph screed, and he finished it off with verbally kicking me out of my own family - with several other blood relatives chiming in.
But my statement was true. There is really no difference between being forced to put a yellow star on your jacket and being forced to wear a face mask in order to enter a store. Both are being fueled by force and fear.
I fully understand Gina's take and I have felt the brunt of stupid people.
For example, I used to be a huge Star Wars and Marvel fan - now, I don't think I've even seen that last 2 or 3 offerings from either. Just not interested. Ditto Terminator - haven't seen the latest one (can't even recall the title) because the story lines are just played out and the PC direction of the studios is simply revolting. The Bond series is about there too. It is time for something new & different, she could be a part of that.
