I have 2 daughters - would never have even thought have having my hands anywhere like that - absolute most on or just over the shoulder at the wrist. Otherwise on the arm as in slightly hugging or on the back to guide - mayyyybeeee playfully on top of the head but that was rare and often got looks of “really” or the ever present “stoooooop - your being such a dad”
