Trump never conceded he lost, but his impeachment lawyer did

One of the lawyers heading former President Donald Trump’s defense at his second impeachment trial did what Trump himself has not: conceded Joe Biden won the presidential election. —

In opening remarks Tuesday, lawyer Bruce Castor said: “The American people just spoke, and they just changed administrations.” He added that Americans are “smart enough to pick a new administration if they don’t like the old one, and they just did.”

The comments by Castor, a former county prosecutor in Pennsylvania, were a surprising contrast to Trump’s defiance. The former president repeatedly disputed the results of the election, falsely claiming he won in a “landslide.” And he kept up the baseless claims through the end of his presidency, including during a speech at a rally that preceded the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, which set in motion his trial on a charge of incitement of insurrection.

“We will stop the steal,” he said at the rally. “Today I will lay out just some of the evidence proving that we won this election, and we won it by a landslide. This was not a close election.”

There was no widespread fraud in the election, as has been confirmed by election officials across the country and former Attorney General William Barr. Dozens of legal challenges to the election put forth by Trump and his allies were dismissed.

That’s a lowlife thing to say and you know it. He desperately wanted to bring in first class people.
But the resistance started immediately. The day after he won, the White House was infested with spies.
Flynn was the first one the GOP and FBI got fired.
The pussyhats and antifa were in the streets.
Anyone remotely associated with Trump faced utterly unjustified and unfair ruin, professionally and personally. The “killers” from the private sector he wanted to bring in knew it was impossible that their life wouldn’t be ruined no matter how unfair. Sarah Huckabee is an example, she was a decent human being and hard worker, she was utterly vilified. Ronnie Jackson was a first class doctor. He was destroyed solely for daring to issue results saying Trump was in very good health.

Mitch McConnell boxed him in carefully on Senate confirmed positions an refused to go into recess for the entire four years to prevent recess appointments.

He was left with family because those were the only ones not working against him. He had very little say in the matter but you always pretend he did. Trump was a decent man who tried very hard for America, and even to reach across the aisle. He tried to cooperate with his own party to show some goodwill.

All he got was attitudes like you have. Go back to DU.

Giuliani is far from senile in fact he’s a great man and great lawyer. He had no cases that were heard by the courts, cases were denied and almost all those cases were not Rudy’s. He’s extremely and exquisitely versed in everything that went on regarding fraud in that election. You don’t have your facts straight.

The Kushners have been Trump’s biggest problem.

Any lawyer that goes to work for him will have his family assaulted and the firm he is at will be boycotted by the big financiers, businesses and other clients.
That’s if he’s lucky.

If not the FBI will raid his office as though he were a mafia lawyer, and take all the files. They carefully turn it all over to their attorney/client privilege de-confliction unit. They will read ever word and then separate the things they think are privileged. The IRS will target his finances. Who paid for Trump’s defense? How? When? Why? And when they finish, the AG of NY will dive in. The lawyer gets a rectal exam back to third grade. His kids will be expelled from school or university.

He will likely face some kind of action against his law license simply for accepting President Trump as a client!

The problem is not that he has no idea who the good lawyers are. He is alone, surrounded by treason and his options are taken away by the swamp terrorists and their lawfare and street wings.

That must be why giant crowds showed up everywhere he went. Because he wasn’t talking about what people cared about. /s

Another AP smear/hit piece on Trump.

What Trump’s lawyer said is irrelevant. He was not the president of the US.

Can’t trust anybody to make an accurate statement these days. Stupidity is running as rampant as an elephant with diarrhea.

Could also be that the lawyers were trying to get rich off of Trump and were overcharging him. You know how he hates that. His revenge would be not to give them the honor of representing him.

Is it possible he was being sarcastic?

When I started listening to Caster, I thought it was a Democrat. It took a while, a long while before realizing that he was talking in support of Trump.

He sounded to me like a whiny apologist, and a pedantic one at that. It was very hard to listen to, and I thought he was not effective.

The next guy, sorry for my impression, sound like a fast talking nasal lawyer, that is like an annoying gnat. Perhaps organized in his thinking, but repetitive and boring. He too was very hard to listen to.

Caster told the Senate that they changed their strategy in mid stride because the oppositions presentation was so good??? Who in hell says that to, or about, their opponent?

This was a broadside against Trump, again, planned for a long time, with a failed premise, but a good presentation.

Since coming to politics, Trump has repeatedly shown that he excels in choosing the wrong people.

> “I keep reminding Freepers that Trump lost the election by just 43,000 votes in three states - AZ, GA, WI.”

Trump didn’t lose.

In AZ, GA, WI, Trump’s victory was stolen by a margin of approximately 43,000 counts.

Important to substitute “lose” with “stolen by a margin”. There were actually a multitude more than 43,000 false counts.

In the context of fraud, it’s important to use “counts” in place of “votes” when referring to tabulated totals; they were counts, not votes.

> “With those three states, Trump ties Biden at 269-269.”

Those three states add up to 37 Electoral votes. Without the fraudulent certifications in these states, Biden’s fraud would be at 269. And yes, Trump in this case gets elected under the 12th Amendment.

The false certifications in AZ, GA, WI could have been held back altogether by respective state legislative intervention leaving 37 No votes, Trump with 232 and Biden with a false 269. The 12th Amendment would still kick in because the denominator of electoral counts is fixed at 538 leaving a majority to be reached at 270.

Thanks for providing this table.

Did you create it? I would like to cite it as a reference.

Which author / source should I give credit to? Is it available elsewhere online?

Gosh I wonder why? Impeached for no reason! His agenda that he was turning the country around and managing Americans lives better was stymied by democraps and Republicants. The grievances were to expose what these grifters are, theives, traitors and liars!

The only thing that matters to history is the Junta in Congress lost its bid to convict Trump in an unconstitutional senate impeachment trial.

Marxists always attempt to revise history.

George Orwell wrote in 1984:

“THE PAST WAS ERASED, THE ERASURE WAS FORGOTTEN, THE LIE BECAME THE TRUTH.”

Without erasing history and establishing a lie in place of truth, Marxists cannot cement their power. Part of their playbook focuses on putting down, suppressing those that tell the truth.

To discuss the fraud in the Nov 2020 election, to investigate how this election was stolen, to attempt to set the record straight, all are categorized as acts of domestic terrorism.

Anyone attempting to set the record straight will be targeted with full intimidation and ultimately harm to their persons. We see that playing out now.

Trump better fire this BRAIN DEAD MORON INSTANTLY! This is so infuriating!

This imbecile if alive during WWII, they would be making this statement: "Hitler and the Nazis have a legitimate right to all of Europe... The people of Europe have chosen their new leader..."

Washington accepted Arnold as one of his generals.

Are you to say that Washington had a “poor” record because he allowed Arnold to be a General in his army?

“Prior to his defection to the British, Arnold was hailed as one of the Continental Army’s greatest fighting generals.”

I don’t see Trump as having done anything wrong, I see others as having done wrong.

I see you expressing that because Trump was betrayed, he’s at fault, therefore he’s a loser by his own doing, and so Trump is a loser and deserves what he brought on himself.

Nothing about the traitors.

Like telling the young woman who was raped, “you should have not worn a skirt above your knees, you shouldn’t have smiled at the rapist before he raped you, you should have worn a Burka, you should have had a Glock, you should have had body guards, you should have known he was a rapist, ..... and so on ad nauseum.

Let’s pile on Trump shall we?

Because it’s so much easier than following and catching the traitors, right? Of course right.
