I Finally Figured Our Surrender Pansies Out

Posted on 02/09/2021 1:13:17 PM PST by redheadedshannon

Somethings been puzzling me about our side since the November election. I've noticed an inordinate percentage of people on the right being nihilistic & petulant. I have always assumed we are simply smarter than they are. I think that this election opened my eyes not just to the level of corruption of the Democrats, but more so the lack of sincerity of many on my own side.

What I've witnessed is a collapse of shared will. You may blame others failures or betrayals for bringing you down that long, sad road. In reality, it's just you! Every time you boycott an election or knowingly vote for assinine third parties that don't have the support to win, you cede this country further to those you claim to fear the most.

I finally realized that maybe the reason that many people loved President Trump was because he was strong. He was your knight on a white horse. You thought he could do all the fighting for you. I don't guess you completely learned until election night that he can't fight it all on his own. He needed more than just your words.

You don't abandon the people who are counting on you. President Trump never did. We need to start banding together because there are extremely important battles taking place right now- election security, immigration, speech, religion, shut downs. For God sakes, Democrats & the media are trying to ban us. Wake up! Mitch McConnell isn't our biggest problem right now!!

There are no easy fights or knights on white horses. We have to save ourselves & each other. We have got to unite to defeat our enemies. They are attempting to divide us & too many of the weak minded are unknowingly falling for it 😉

I don’t think it’s that. I think it’s the Rambo syndrome. People think you can just go out there, form a new party and win elections. It’s harder than it looks. Way harder. And Rambo ended up surrendering, and going to prison - probably the only slice of gritty realism in any of the eponymous, hugely-entertaining popcorn movies.

Surrender pansies? I know you don’t mean to be rude, Red. But less-than-attractive labels tend to push people away instead of rallying them to your cause.

Yes, there are many pessimistic conservatives these days. That’s not very healthy. But who can really blame them? The last three months have been very, very tough.

We need to get those folks to rally around the flag again. And I’m thinking the best way to do that would be to make persuasive and respectful arguments. It really is the American way.

Lol. Funny thing is, I am a woman and fairly young! I’m listening to a rather large portion of guys on herewith their surrender mentality & just want to smack
Some sense into them! Ugh 🤣

What are you supposed to do? We were just faced with that, with voting for Ben Sasse or a TERRIBLE democrat candidate.

It is sad, but what can we do, at that moment, with the ballot in front of us?

would I vote for them (Cheney & Sasse) under those conditions.

Yes, any day of the week & twice on Sundays.

You are a prime example of why I'm not a Republican.

Well, I guess the post Jim made earlier this year fell on deaf ears.

He needed more than just your words.

And he needed the support of the spineless GOP in state and federal levels - they, more than any other group, are responsible for his loss and ours. Hanging is too quick; blood eagle, if it were possible, is acceptable

So you perpetuate what’s been going on for the last 20-30 years; vote the lesser of two evils. And you needed a vanity to tell us this?

Hasn’t always been the case. Reagan, Gingrich, Trump, to name a few. But lately we, the voters, have been acting like we don’t have to fight. We need to snap out of it. The gloves have to come off. Fight fire with fire. If cheating is now what’s required, so be it. But we have got to stop saying ‘itll never happen’. 😃

So when the going gets tough they get a pass? We at in an all out war! Do you know why prospective Seals are put through such an intense initiation process? It is so when they go into battle and the battle waxes hot, they already weeded out all those who would quit, all those who would surrender, all those who would cut + run.

If you’re playing by the rules and your opponent has none then you’re probably going to be left defeated on your moral high ground.

We're in this mess because Republicans continue to pull the lever for people who hate MAGA and Trump. I have zero respect for them and people who vote for them.

Why would I vote for Cheney?
I want her to lose.

Always vote for her opponent. Primary and general

More talk doesn’t make anything change. In my case knowing that Trump was in the right and actually making America more in line with its Constitutional principles, I felt assured that the “Conservative” Supreme Court had his back. Turned out we were all plated by the insidious evil that has apparently permeated America far worse than any of us had ever imagined. Somehow I don’t see how big TALK about fighting on is not going to change it. The ONLY question now is will the left pack the SC to cement their victory forever or will they wait and take the chance of losing the ability to do so at the next election. Considering that the GOP has in a lot of ways already alienated the Trump vote, and considering that the left was able to CHEAT TO WIN and get away with it, chances are that they will be in power for quite some time, if not forever anyway...void of some form of Devine intervention anyway. I guess some people believe that buyers remorse on Biden will turn the tide in a couple years, but it looks like the left has a plan for that as they open the gates of the border promising all sorts of free goodies. All they need do is make all the illegals citizens and it is over for the America we ever knew anyway. Of course, the evil left doesn’t care WHAT America is, as long as THEY are in charge of it.

Cheney deserves a Bill Buckley Lowell Weiker operation but that should only be used under very, very special circumstances.

Should read:

“were all PLAYED by the insidious evil that has apparently permeated America far worse than any of us had ever imagined. Somehow I don’t see how big TALK about fighting on IS GOING to change it.”

Be like Reagan, who, when asked about how he would deal with the Soviets, simply said, “We win, they lose.”
