New Jersey’s main pizza war may be with New York, but the state’s saucy rivalry with Connecticut is getting richer and richer.
Months after Gov. Phil Murphy and Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont got into a Twitter spat over who had the country’s best pizza, the two states took to Twitter to continue the beef this week.
The latest skirmish in the Great New Jersey-Connecticut Pizza Conflict came as Connecticut lawmakers introduced a bill that would make pizza the official State Food.

That’s a really awful looking pizza. If I paid $ for that, I’d demand a refund.

Its good to know that the Rats running the State of Connecticut what really important.
We have thousands of people unemployed,Taxes and spending out of control and our Betters in Hartford are worried about Pizza.
Hey.I’m Italian and I know Connecticut has Great Pizza but is that a reason to waste tax dollars to push through something as stupid as that.
Pizza is probably the only thing that Connecticut is good for.

Dont know much about Conneticut Pizza, but NY and NJ Pizza is the same style. I’ve been to plenty of pizza joints here and in the city and there’s no difference. And that overcooked poor excuse for a pie posted earlier on this thread is definitely not what I see around here.
That said, I'll take a Frank Pepe White Clam Pizza! Delivered to Tampa! 😀
