Happy Sunday All...
It’s a good, straightforward lineup of Durante...not one but two Suspense!...and ending perfectly with a Lux from ‘43.
How are you?
Hi, Vision! What’s shakin?
Hi Gina, a little snow, some pizza, some work on the basement. You?
It finally turned sunny and mild today after a couple of damp, chilly ones. I got us a small, very nice charcuterie board for our "Super Bowl party," which is just me and Keith. :-) He's doing a bunch of wings in the oven, doctored with baking powder to make them crispy.
That board looks good, and I’m into the baking powder wings too. What are you doing in the basement?
That board is similar to the one I got from the bakery. I linked that photo from the bakery’s Facebook page.
I meant that you’re still working on the basement. I thought you said you were doing some work on it the other week. We don’t have a basement. We’re about at sea level. :-D
Evening, folks.
What’s up?
Getting ready for a dinner run. Just got through stacking a few cubic feet of firewood on the hearth. I am really gettting off my duff now and tackling some projects. My labs came back last week and my A1C is up into ‘You Are Going To Die’ Land, so my doc added insulin to my meds. Odd thing is, I’ve lost at least a dozen pounds since September, and she’s lost eight......the doc thinks it’s stress related.
Thank you!
I’m sorry to hear that, Viking.
Enjoy! Two Suspense and a Lux is pretty cool.
I will be, as soon as the script hits the pharmacy. I’ll have to determine if this is in lieu of or in conjunction with the Trulicity shot I give myself wweekly. Personally, I think it’ll come down because A1C readings are a rolling 90-day blood glucose average, and I admit I was a naughty boy with certain things over the holidays. And healthy food wasn’t one of them. In fact, food in general wasn’t high on my list. I gotta right the ship soon, I can feel it in my hands and feet. Enough damage has been done.
