Seems to me Texas should be able to protect it’s borders. Yes it’s a National Border but it would be interesting to see what Biden (or the string masters) would do if Texas just said no to all illegals.

I’m not sure how much longer Texas can remain red. Think about this. In 2004, GWB won Texas by 23%. In 2020, Trump won Texas by only 5.5%.

The real ones are, of course, mostly gone. But it doesn’t matter much anyway. Biden plans to rule by decree (executive orders). So if Biden and his handlers want open borders, then open borders we shall have.

“We were already close here in Texas”

The last several election cycles, Texas has marched steadily toward the Democrat side.

Demography is destiny.

Because of its large population, it will take a large flow to achieve their objective.

Brace yourself for the flood. The colonias of South Texas will likely grow across the rest of the State, like mushrooms after the rain.

It’s a conspiracy theorists dream and nothing more...

You doubt Democrats aren't going to attempt to do it. You're pretty naïve if that's the case.

“Are there any Republicans left in Washington or are they all gone?”

I was redistricted for 2020 so I have a new GOP Congressman. I still get the weekly propaganda sheet from the office of my former Congresscritter. Both are silent with respect to any real issues. Just “feel good” messaging about constituent service, caring about seniors and vets, and fighting for “conservative issues”. Same for Senator Tillis. Senator Burr has gone totally into hiding and has obviously checked out since he is not running for reelection in 2022.

The GOP should be screaming about some of the specific Biden moves. Instead, they are passive while shoveling out the same old BS to the voter base. So yes, lets all go out in 2022 and vote for the GOP. Let’s say they actually regain the House and Senate in 2022. What are they going to do? A repeat of what happened after the 2016 election when the voters gave them the majority. Or perhaps a repeat of the Hastert/Frist years during the Bush administration. We must face the truth. These people are not going to fight for anything.

Face it folks..the country is gone. Our own citizens sold us out.

There will never be secession.

Do what we did.. move to small town rural red area with near 100% white population.

And when city people mean small town they think of 50k population. No, I am talking 150-200 people.

The Deplorables want a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.

The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.

This is just the resumption of the largest bipartisan project of the last 30 years, the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA)

Republicans have been intentionally importing a permanent Democrat majority for 30 years.

That’s what I would have thought, too. But, then I looked closely at the exit polls from the Senate race in 2018. Interestingly, Ted Cruz did appreciably better with non-native Texans - that is to say, people who live in TX but were born in another state - than he did with native Texans. I can’t remember the exact difference, but I believe it was between 15 and 25-points better.

It appears that comfortable majority of people who are moving to Texas are moving there to escape liberalism and are voting that way. This isn’t true in a lot of other states, namely VA and GA which have been wrecked by interstate migration the last two-decades. But for now, Texas is benefitting from it. Their native born voters, particularly those under 30 are HUGELY liberal.

I live in FL and was hoping exit pollsters were going to ask a similar question here for 2020. They didn’t, unfortunately. I’m curious how the people who have moved to FL are actually voting compared to native Floridians.

BTW, I joined FR (longtime lurker) just to reply to this message.

Ironically me and the wife are thinking of moving to South America for retirement, maybe Costa Rica. Extremely cheap, we will avoid living under neo-Marxist tyranny, no taxes...Here is a good website on it...
