Slain FBI Agent Laura Schwartzenberger Memorialized At Hard Rock Stadium

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A memorial service was held Saturday afternoon for slain FBI Agent Laura Schwartzenberger at Hard Rock Stadium.

Friends, family, and fellow FBI agents were on hand to remember Schwartzenberger.

Schwartzenberger and Agent Daniel Alfin died early Tuesday when they went to serve a warrant at the Water Terrace Apartments in Sunrise. Three other agents were wounded. The gunman, 55-year-old David Lee Huber, later killed himself.

Schwartzenberger leaves behind a husband and two young boys.

Christopher Wray, FBI director had this to say: “On Tuesday we lost two warriors. Two best friends who shared the same passion and determination. Same sense of optimism and hope. It is heartbreaking for American people and her family.”

Brenda Chavez, a family friend of the victim said, “She was a true protector of those she loved and cared for. She tackled everything. A dear friend loving friend and inspirational sister, biggest badass. You blessed each person.“

A GoFundMe was set up for the Schwartzenberger family.

The FBI Agents Association Membership Assistance Fund has set up a GoFundMe page for the families of both agents. They have set a goal of $500,000.

Child porn was traced back to the computer in Huber's apartment...Huber apparently saw the two agents through the doorbell camera and fired his gun...Bullets went through the door and hit two agents...Agent Schwartzenberger died instantly...

I used to be sympathetic whenever stuff like this happened. Given the way the FBI is now basically the Democrats’ KGB arm in all but name, I’m now inclined to wonder at the poor marksmanship of the people they went to apprehend.

I read a story about Huber. He had a discussion with a fellow worker and said he was angry that Trump would take away his medical coverage, telling the guy he was bipolar and needed lots of meds to keep him “normal”.

“ child pornography “, it is a well known tactic used by .gov agencies to attack and discredit suspects with that charge as without having access to the computer no one really knows...more than one person has been framed or forced to do something with false pornography charges levied against them. Fact is,I do NOT trust the FBI, they are proven liars.....there is more to this story.

I do understand that some FR posters are very angry about FBI...Those posters are very loyal to former president Trump...I get it...FBI is enemy number one to them...I am not dismissing their grievances...

No matter what we think of FBI, I think we could still express condolence to family of Agent Schwatzenberger...A mother of two sons...She also was responsible for arrest and conviction of child porn predators...Thank you for reading...
